Evergreen Blueshoes play a mix of psychedelic rock and folk music. Word has it they were once called ‘The Beatles of Topanga Canyon’. I guess the comparison stops there, as ‘The Ballad of Evergreen Blueshoes’ is the only album recorded by this short-lived group, led by Skip Battin of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers.
