i came across the orient express via pmh - progressive music house. this self-titled album is short (35 minutes), but very enjoyable. lots of crazy sitars and timpanis, some ecstatic yelling, and a couple of quite popish tunes very suitable for any up-tempo playlist.

a quick google search tells me that at least three bands have taken the name ‘the orient express’. other than the pmh blog i found no information, except from a guy selling this 1969 album on ebay.
